Pattern
After talking to my grandma on which quilt pattern would be a good pattern to start with I decided on the above pattern. Unfortunately this is a quilt that my family has made multiple times and actually does not have a pattern for anymore or a name. The easy way to go would have been to measure the blocks and strips of this quilt and add a half inch on each strip for the original measurement but I did not believe that making a king size quilt was a good idea for my first quilt. So my grandma and I decided a quilt approximately twin size was the right size for me to make. So we measured on the blocks on it and then we made a practice block to get the correct size strips to make my quilt. I am very sad that I was unable to come up with a name for the quilt. I did hours of googling for it and even had my grandma and two aunts googling it. Some possibilities that was came up with are Endless Stairs, Grandma Mary's Five Patch, Popsicle Stick, and Rail Fence Quilts. Sadly none of them were exactly the same, so I still do not know that name of it so I am doing to call it the maze quilt because it reminds me of a maze. My goals for next week is to iron and cut all the strips.
