Introduction
Hi I am DeLaney Loughead. As part of my Composition 2 class we are doing a project called Genius Hour. When we were first given this assignment I was nervous because as a student I have never been allowed to do what ever we wanted. But the more I thought about it the more excited I got. I choose to learn how to quilt. It is something I have all ways wanted to learn how to quilt but I have never taken the time to learn. So now I am going to learn how to quilt in seven weeks.

DeLaney, 4 years ago I became a grandmother. I had three granddaughters born in one month. I had never sewn before, but really wanted to make them baby quilts. If I could do it at age 54, I have faith that you will accomplish your goal. Good luck.
